Blessings of Homes
Many people like to have their homes blessed after they move in to them. If you would like for a priest or a deacon to come and bless your home, please call the rectory (636.532.3304) to arrange for this. You may also bless your home as a family and use the following prayer (or adapt it as you see fit):
May the Lord Jesus,
Who lived with his holy family in Nazareth, Dwell also with our family, Keep it from all evil, And make all of us one in mind and heart.
Loving God, Bless our home, our family who lives here, And all who visit.
Help us always to know of your presence here And to live in peace, goodwill and charity.
We make our prayer through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
